SPARK Creativity Workshops

SPARK Northwest
Sponsored by Dublin City Council in conjunction with the Northwest Partnership

Project Goals:

In the wake of the pandemic, young people’s development has faced unprecedented challenges, while older adults grapple with increased isolation and declining mental health.

SPARK Northwest is an exciting, innovative and transformative community project in the northwest area, that aims to bridge generational gaps, foster creativity, story sharing and artist collaborations. We aim to create a platform for multi-disciplinary personal expression, which cultivates vital social connections and culminates in a celebration showcase for the community

SPARK Youth: beginning in schools, the aim is to cultivate creativity among youth with a view to developing a programme outside of schools.

SPARK Silver Sycamores: inviting over 50s in the Finglas area to join a FREE Online Creative Writing Class beginning end Feb/early March. Want to kow more or sign up? Get in touch.

SPARK Northwest is sponsored by Dublin City Council Arts Office

The North West Area Partnership is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status working with local people and representatives from community, the state, employers, trade unions and elected representatives. We work to improve the opportunities for people and communities in north west Dublin to bring about positive changes in their own lives and in their communities. We offer a range of programmes and services to support individuals, local organisations, groups and communities in the areas where we work: Dublin 11, 9 and 7. Our work is funded by the Irish government and charitable organisations.  https://dublinnorthwest.ie/
